The Preserve Dog Park

The Preserve Dog Park is a completely fenced-in play area for dogs of all sizes. It has a hiking trail to enjoy some of Davidson’s scenery. Dogs should have a current Davidson dog tag and rabies vaccination.

Rock Springs Nature Preserve

This park in Denver has multiple areas open for play open to the public. It has a 2/5-mile, semi-paved trail that dogs can walk on, along with picnic tables to cool off under. It is a beautiful walk that is not too long and perfect for any dog.

635 South St., Davidson to Davidson-Concord Road

This is a great paved walk around Davidson to take a dog on, stretching from Davidson Elementary School, through a bridge and down to Davidson-Concord Road. It is a nice peaceful 2.8-mile walk with lots of nature and beautiful landscaping.

North Mecklenburg Park

16131 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville

North Meck Park has 98 acres of land and scenic walking trails through the woods. The walk through the forest is shaded, and restrooms and water fountains are available. The park also has sports fields and courts as well as a grill to cook out.
