McConnell is a wonderful, family-oriented neighborhood nestled close to downtown Davidson. The neighborhood began in 1992 as a joint venture between Davidson College and Crosland Land Development. Located approximately one mile from Davidson College and Main Street, the neighborhood consists of around 200 single family residences.
McConnell offers plenty of sidewalks and green space for a safe and inviting place to walk, bike, play, and enjoy the neighborhood! Walk to Davidson’s Main Street’s shops and restaurants or enjoy the town’s “Concerts on the Green.” On your way into town you will pass one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges, Davidson College, where you can take advantage of the arts, sports and other college-related offerings for the community.
McConnell also features a homeowners’ association, which oversees all of the common grounds, parks, pond and walking trails. The neighborhood is going into its 22nd year and is as popular as ever!
